ISRV supports events that are organised either directly by the society or in collaboration with its Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
These events can be held in any accessible location around the globe, ensuring wide participation and inclusivity. ISRV events provide an opportunity for scientists and clinicians to share research and ideas with each other.
Our events actively encourage sharing of knowledge and collaboration, and aim to provide support for a broad community of respiratory virus global scientists from across all career stages. ISRV provides funding specifically for scholarships and also provides secretariat support to facilitate these events. However, it is expected that all events will be financially self-supporting, primarily through registration fees, sponsorship, and/or the inclusion of a trade exhibition.
To submit a proposal for a scientific event supported by ISRV, please complete a proposal form and email it to admin@isrv.global
The form includes guidelines for completion. The format and structure of events is at the discretion of the organizers. ISRV scientific meetings typically run either with one session (stream) over 2-3 days or with 2-4 sessions running in parallel.
Proposals must be submitted at least 18 months and (ideally) 24 months in advance of the proposed event date.
