Early Career Researchers/Members are defined as individuals who have a maximum of 8 years (whole-time equivalent) of professional experience following the completion of their highest academic degree (e.g., PhD, MD, Master of Public Health) or equivalent. This does not include those who have completed Habilitation. The intent is to include individuals with advanced degrees and significant post-degree experience in research, public health, clinical, or related fields. When assessing eligibility, ISIRV will consider reasonable concessions or accommodations (e.g. those who have worked part-time and have taken career breaks) on a case-by-case basis to ensure equitable participation and opportunity.
