Membership support

ISRV is a not-for-profit organisation. Income received through membership subscriptions, event registration fees, sponsors and funders is used to support respiratory disease scientists to attend ISIRV educational events.

The Society has a number of dedicated funds at its disposal from which it offers grants to members for specific purposes. The Society also awards a range of prizes in recognition of outstanding contributions and achievements in the respiratory virus field.

Early Career Researchers (ECRs) & students

Early Career Researchers/Members are defined as individuals who have a maximum of 8 years (whole-time equivalent) of professional experience following the completion of their highest academic degree (e.g., PhD, MD, Master of Public Health) or equivalent.
