ISRV, as an organisation is coming of age in 2025, as the society is now 20 years old. To celebrate this significant milestone, a 20th anniversary lecture will be given at the 10th ESWI conference in Valencia in October 2025. This may sound anomalous but is actually a reflection of the fact that ISRV was launched at the 2nd ESWI conference in 2005 in Malta.
The anniversary lecture is titled ‘The use of antivirals in pandemics: what have we learnt?’ and will be given by Prof. Maria Zambon, ISRV’s current Chair.
