ISRV is delighted to announce that it has secured funding to support and expand its education program
This marks an important step in broadening our reach, enhancing the quality of our learning activities, and supporting the next generation of researchers and practitioners working in respiratory viruses. The funding will directly support the delivery and development of key educational initiatives, including the upcoming Hong Kong 7th ISRV School of Respiratory Viruses.
As part of this development, we plan to appoint an Education Program Manager in 2026 to coordinate and further shape our educational work. This role will play a central part in maximizing the impact of the funding, ensuring strong delivery of the school, and supporting the continued growth of ISRV’s education program. Working closely with the Education Committee, the Education Program Manager will help scale existing initiatives and introduce new opportunities for members around the world.
We are also beginning to explore future locations for the School of Respiratory Viruses, building on the momentum of the Hong Kong school, and we invite members to share ideas for new courses, workshops, or learning formats that could contribute to a richer and more dynamic education program.
With this support in place, we are excited about what the next phase of ISRV education can achieve.
