ISRV Wiley Early Career Investigator Award

We’re delighted to announce that there will be an ISRV Wiley Early Career Investigator Award of USD$1,000 presented at RSV2027 for the best RSV manuscript published in Influenza and Other Respiratory Viruses (IORV) in 2026. 

The ISRV Wiley Early Career Investigator Award is designed to recognize outstanding early career researchers in the field of respiratory viruses and aims to encourage scientific excellence, innovation, and engagement among emerging investigators.   

 

Eligibility Criteria 

  • The Early Career Researcher must be within 8 years of completing their terminal research degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) or post-graduate clinical training .
  •  Must be an ISRV member.
  • The Award will be based on the best RSV research article published in Influenza and Other Respiratory Viruses (IORV) in 2026, whereby the applicant is either the first (or co-first) author or the senior (last) author.
  • Applications from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged.

 

Award Presentation  

The award will be presented by Wiley at RSV2027 and the recipient will receive the $1,000 prize and a certificate.  The Awardee will also be offered free registration to RSV2027.
