The International Society for Respiratory Viruses has appointed Lucy Owen as Education Program Manager

Lucy joins ISRV as Education Program Manager
Lucy brings significant experience in delivering education program across professional membership bodies and charities. She previously served as Head of FIRST LEGO League at the Institution of Engineering and Technology, leading delivery across the UK and Ireland and working with academic partners, volunteers, and sponsors to support national events and curriculum aligned resources.
She holds a first-class degree in Applied Education Studies and has expertise in program design, impact evaluation, and digital learning. At ISRV, Lucy will support the development and delivery of the Society’s Schools of Respiratory Viruses and wider education initiatives. She addition she has held senior leadership roles at the Dyspraxia Foundation and the School and Public Health Nurses Association.
Lucy said: “I’m truly delighted to be joining ISRV at such an exciting time for the Society. Education has a vital role to play in strengthening global collaboration and advancing knowledge in respiratory viruses, and I’m looking forward to working with colleagues and partners to support the continued development of impactful and accessible programs.”
With Lucy’s appointment, ISRV continues to build the expertise needed to deliver high quality, globally accessible education. The Society looks forward to working with Lucy to further strengthen collaboration and knowledge exchange across the respiratory virus community.
