Abstract submissions

Research abstracts are being solicited for the Control for Influenza XIII Conference. The accepted abstracts will be presented as oral or poster presentations at the Washington DC Convention Center in Washington, DC, USA, August 30 – September 2, 2026.

Options XIII is the largest global scientific meeting focused on influenza prevention, control, and treatment, and will also feature sessions on other respiratory viruses. The conference brings together the world’s leading experts in virology, clinical care, public health, and vaccine research to share the latest evidence, foster collaboration, and advance the global response to influenza and respiratory viruses.

The 2026 meeting is structured around four Scientific Track Committees: Clinical Science, Public Health, Virology & Pathogenesis, and Implementation. These committees, composed of international experts, are developing a high-impact scientific program that reflects the latest advances and ongoing challenges in influenza control. Our goal is to convene the global influenza and respiratory virus research community to present cutting-edge research, discuss evidence-based strategies for disease prevention and control, and address both emerging challenges and persistent gaps in our efforts to reduce the burden of respiratory viral infections worldwide.
