Who can attend the RSV Mini-School?
While developed primarily for graduate students and young scientists (Early-Career Researchers – ECRs), the RSV Mini-School is open to anyone wishing to strengthen their understanding of RSV before the main meeting.
ECRs are defined as individuals who have a maximum of 8 years (whole-time equivalent) of professional experience following the completion of their highest academic degree (e.g., PhD, MD, Master of Public Health) or equivalent. Find out more about ECR classification here.
What is an RSV Mini-School?
The RSV Mini-School is an intensive, one-day educational program held immediately before the start of the 14th International RSV Symposium. It has been designed to provide participants with a comprehensive grounding in RSV, covering the virus from fundamental biology and immunology through to clinical disease, epidemiology, prevention, treatment and implementation. Delivered by leading international experts, the programme combines scientific presentations with professional development and networking opportunities to help participants maximise their learning and get the most from the Symposium.

How do I register for the RSV Mini-School?
Available through the 14th International RSV Symposium registration site. An additional €45 will be added at registration check-out. Click the Register Now button below or click here.
Is there any financial support to assist me in attending?
There will be a limited number of scholarships available to support students to attend the Mini-School. This includes complementary Mini-School registration fee and, where applicable, travel and/or accommodation support.
Priority will be given to ECRs living or working in Low or Lower-Middle Income Countries (LMICs), as defined by the World Bank (the current list of LMICs can be found here).
