It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the 4th ISRV meeting on Correlates of Protection for Next Generation Influenza Vaccines in Vienna, Austria, hosted in collaboration with the Semmelweis Institute.
Vienna, a vibrant hub of science, culture, and history, offers the perfect setting for our Correlates meeting which will be fittingly held in the Aula of Science. Vienna is known for its world-class research institutions, rich intellectual heritage, and welcoming atmosphere, combining old-world charm with modern innovation.
This Correlates of Protection meeting aims to bring together investigators from public health, academia, industry, regulatory agencies and funding organizations to discuss the way forward for the accelerated development of next generation/universal influenza vaccines that provide broader, more durable protection.
This 4th meeting will capitalise on the recent advances in transformational vaccine technologies to inform the way forward to identify and validate new immune correlates of protection against influenza for accelerated vaccine development.
We hope you will join us for cutting-edge insights and lessons learned from correlates of protection across a range of vaccines and platforms.
Over the course of three days, we will discuss the latest developments in immunology – focusing on mucosal correlates and state-of-the-art immunological assays – and tackle the regulatory challenges facing mRNA and other next-generation vaccine technologies.
The Correlates meeting is a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts, share perspectives, and shape the conversation on the future of influenza vaccines.
