ISRV has updated its membership categories to simplify eligibility. All current LMIC Members will be moved into either the Full or Early Career membership category
The change ensures all members are recognized according to their professional stage while maintaining free membership options for those residing in low- and middle-income countries who meet the criteria for either category.
Full Membership is open to scientists, clinicians, and public health professionals with a direct interest in respiratory viruses. Early Career Membership is available to those with up to eight years of post-degree experience.
Members affected by this change will be contacted directly with details on transitioning to the new categories.
