Supporting Early Career Researchers at Options XIII

As part of Options XIII Conference for the Control of Influenza this August, ISRV is pleased to be supporting a dedicated program of opportunities designed specifically for Early Career Researchers (ECRs)

Alongside the main scientific programme, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a pre-conference Mini-School, offering focused learning in key areas of respiratory virus research, as well as a series of ECR networking and professional development events taking place throughout the meeting.

These sessions are intended to create space for emerging researchers and professionals to build connections, learn from established leaders in the field, and develop confidence in navigating the next stages of their careers. Whether through interactive educational sessions, informal networking opportunities, or discussions around career pathways and research development, the programme is designed to complement the wider conference experience and help foster the next generation of respiratory virus expertise.

For established members of our community, these events also provide an opportunity to encourage colleagues, trainees, and early-career peers to get involved and benefit from the dedicated support on offer.
