We have a limited number of different scholarships will be available to support attendance at the Hong Kong School. These include:
- Free registration – you will need to cover your own travel expenses
- Travel scholarship to cover travel costs (e.g. flights) – you will need to cover the registration fee
- Free registration and travel scholarship
Scholarships will only be available to Early-Career Researchers (ECRs). ECRs are defined as individuals who have a maximum of 8 years (whole-time equivalent) of professional experience following the completion of their highest academic degree (e.g., PhD, MD, Master of Public Health) or equivalent – you can read ISRV’s full definition of ECR here. ECRs residing in, or employed in, Low or Low-Middle Income Countries (LMICs), as classified by the World Bank here, will be prioritised. You must have completed an Expression of Interest to attend the School in order to be considered for a scholarship – please ensure this is completed by clicking here.
To register your interest in being considered for a scholarship, please complete the interest form via the link below. The organizing committee will review scholarship interest along with Expressions of Interest and you will be notified of the outcome via email by the 30th June 2026.
